I made it almost to Groningen when the hallucinations became to much to take. I was fine leaving Zwolle but after about 60km I started seeing very real things that weren't there and developing blank patches in my memory as well as feeling unwell. Since I couldn't trust the signs anymore I turned back for Zwolle as my phone had died and I could not contact anyone. I was found by two of your club mates at different points on the way back, sleeping while standing up, I also fell over a few times.

I made 1105 km in total over the trip and it is the longest I have tried to date. Alot of silly mistakes cost me severely and I have learned alot from this trip. Bill (the American) made it to just Groningen and turned back as he also felt quite unwell and unable to complete it. Andy (the englishman) completed the course but missed the controls.
